In 2052, a Nobel Prize-winning neuroscientist develops a drug called Hapuna — a cure-all that has the unexpected side-effect of causing death three years later. In response to this threat, a special force of agents—nicknamed "Lazarus"— is assembled to take on the malevolent Skinner. Lazarus is an original anime television series produced by MAPPA and Sola Entertainment that premiered in Japan on TV Tokyo and its affiliates and in the United States on Adult Swim's Toonami programming block in April 2025.
