A desperate father battles his demons on the vibrant, dangerous, and intoxicating streets of '80s New York in a race to bring home his missing son. Puppeteer Vincent clings to his missing son's drawings of a blue monster puppet named Eric, convinced that if he can get Eric on TV then his son will come home. Vincent, a grief-stricken father whose son goes missing, finds solace through his friendship with Eric, the monster that lives under Edgar's bed.
